8010 was John Deere's first articulated steering tractor and was first demonstrated on a field day near Marshalltown, Iowa in the fall of 1959. Since there were problems with the gearbox, most 8010s were converted into 8020 tractors. Only one 8010 should still be preserved in its original form.
